In the aftermath of the nationwide banking debacle, the time is ripe for a better bank—a bank built on prudent practices, and on an unsurpassed devotion to personal service.

Golden Pacific will be that bank, and Sacramento is the ideal place to build its first branch.

I'm a Sacramento native, and I've spent 22 years as a banker in this area. My bank officers are Northern California natives too, and combined they bring to the table 125 years of banking experience.

Together, we've seen the damage created by risky loans and radical leverage. We've seen California's community banks swallowed up by giants or crippled by bad debt. On the brighter side, we've also reaped the rewards of sound judgment and fiscal stability.

We've also seen the difference that true service can make.

We know, for example, that it's critical for a banker to know the local business landscape. To know local real estate sectors. To know what's going on in the state legislature. And to listen to customers and anticipate their needs.

In short, you can't really serve your customers until you know them.

At Golden Pacific, we will know our customers. In fact, we already know them. Right now they bank at other institutions, but they're eager for a true community bank, built on solid financial footing and starting with a clean balance sheet. Some of our most enthusiastic supporters serve on our board of directors.

We believe that no other bank will offer the range of customer benefits that we offer. And, in June 2010, we plan to open our first branch of Golden Pacific Bank on the ground floor of 980 Ninth Street in Sacramento.

Won't you join us? Together, we can build a better bank.

Sincerely,

Kirk Dowdell
Chief Executive Officer
